Taverna di Bibbiano is a beautiful farmhouse in the heart of Toscany, between Siena and Florence , in front of San Gimignano. The beautiful stone building is surrounded by roses and lavender bushes, rosemary shrubs and other aromatic herbs.
On the way to the Farmhouse you can't stop gazing at the vineyards and olive groves, corn and sunflower fields; colours and fragrances blend giving the panorama that surrounds it a beauty with no time ...... and then on a hill in a surreal atmosphere you can admire the San Gimignano towers.

The three double bedrooms “Il Glicine”, “I Gigli”, “Le Ginestre” and the three suite: “I Fiordalisi”, “Le Rose”, “I Girasoli” have been inspired by flowers.

The original trompe l’oeil with a floral theme which decorate the walls, the terracotta floor and the wooden beams make the atmosphere full of a suggestive charm of other times, the beautiful typically Tuscan wooden furniture, the wrought iron bedstead and canopy beds, the elegant fabric enrich the stay at the "Taverna" with refinement and charm.

The rooms, the beds, the furniture …. As well as the corridors, the stairs and the living rooms of the Taverna di Bibbiano have all been decorated by hand with original trompe l’oeil with a floral theme.

It will be nice to discover the magic of a painted garden …. Partly Tuscan and partly ProvenÇal in the rooms of the Taverna di Bibbiano.

The guests will always feel to be surrounded by a fresh spring atmosphere, with vases of lavender, primroses, roses, daisies and lovely butterflies with coloured wings which seem to fly….

The rich buffet breakfast is served in an exclusive lounge converted from the old stables, ...or outside on a terrace which overlooks the magic of the surrounding view, enclosed by flower beds and and herbal bushes.

Breakfast may also be served under a romantic gazebo, on a terrace overlooking the beautiful swimming pool, surrounded by rosemary, lavender and rose bushes.

The farm produces cereals: wheat,   sweet corn, sunflowers  and oil, but the peculiarity is the production of flowers and herbal plants destined to a drying process.  
 

Our compositions and our floral bouquet which are made with the dried material  give rise to  “Toscana & Rose”, a brand which is synonym of originality and creativity. 

By entering the shop, situated in the farm,  we can smell the delicious lavender, citron and mint aromas and the charm of the "small gardens in a vase" which have  the colours and the fragrances of the Tuscan land.
