" La Canonica " is placed close to San Giovanni d'Asso, city of the thruffle, very close to Montalcino commune, included by two unique territories in the world, the Crete Senesi, a particular and suggestive landscape, and the Val d'Orcia.
It has about 40 hct. of land that we cultivate with cereals, forages and typical products like vine, olive tree, fruit... that you could taste and buy directly.
The position is panoramic, the farmhouse, which was built in the XVIII century, is made by a particular stone, typical of our territory; house of peasants, it had been for a period, residence of religiouses belonged to San Bernardino holy order, then again it had been house of peasants since we bought it in 1958.

The farmhouse, recently restored, has 6 apartaments comfortable, large, well furnished in tuscan style apartments, with all services (included kitchen and autonomous heating) and an incredible view! , and can in total give hospitality to 19 people.

The 3 apartments for 4+1 people are:

"Donella": This apartament gives hospitality to 4 people with the possibility to add 1 more bed. It takes place at the 1 floor of the main construction

"Serenella": This apartament gives hospitality to 4 people with the possibility to add 1 more bed, it is placed at the 1 floor

"Orfeo ": This apartament gives hospitality to 5 people, it is placed near the principal construction , terrace with external table.

The apartments for 2 people are:

"Diana ": This apartament gives hospitality to 2 people, with the possibility to add a bed. It is placed on the main floor of the principal construction and it presents: a matrimonial bedroom, kitchen and bathroom with shower.

"Cipresso": Beautiful apartment for 2 people (+1 if necessary) with large bedroom, living room with chimney and kitchen, bathroom available also for invalid people. Outside there is a table with reserved chairs

"Geranio": Placed at the main floor of the principal construction, it offers: a large bedroom for 2 people (+1 if necessary), kitchen with living room and bathroom.

Besides it has a great swimming pool with a magnificent view.

Wine

Red wine, since this year DOC ORCIA: SANGIOVESE vine, with a small quantity of Cabernét, Souvignon and Merlot.

Besides we produce a red wine which is sold after about 3 years (2 years it stays in special barrels, barriques, imported from France).

Finally we produce also a white wine.

Other products:

In our territory we can find the white thruffle of the CRETE SENESI, which is very esteemed, from the middle of October to December, and the "marzolo" from February to March.

We produce also a small quantities of olive oil with thruffle.
