In the heart of Tuscany, in the lush green setting of
the Valdichiana, amid forests of larch and boxwood and
stark Crete Senesi, lies the Casa al Bosco. This
recently-renovated holiday home is situated a few
minutes walk from the main Villa which it was once
annexed to, it has kept its original name and is part of
a group of rural buildings that belonged to the old
farm. Situated at the top of a promontory projecting
into a wooded valley that opens up towards the Castello
di San Gimignanello, it offers a stunning view and with
its splendid position, the natural landscape that
surrounds it, large garden and swimming pool, total
relaxation is guaranteed.
The holiday facilities offered at the Villa dei Boschi
and the Casa al Bosco, extend over more than twenty
hectares of woods, olive groves and vineyards. It has
always been part of the rustic landscape typical of the
Valdichiana, making it a characteristic example of the
civitas agricola of the valley.
• Ground floor apartment: living room, kitchen, 1 double
bedroom (can be separated into twin beds), 1 double
bedroom, bathroom with shower, + 1 double sofa-bed.
• First Floor apartment: living room, kitchen, 2 double
bedrooms (can both be separated into twin beds), 2
bathrooms with showers, 1 single bed + 1 double
sofa-bed.

Casa al Bosco is part of the Villa dei Boschi, offering
holiday accommodation along with the traditional Tuscan
Restaurant “Il Frantoio” and a qualified “Centre for
Equestrian Tourism” with stables.

In simple but refined surroundings, typical regional
dishes are offered, combining an appreciation of
traditional cuisine with experienced knowledge of fine
wines.
Paddock
The Equestrian Centre is set in the landscape in an
enviable position amid the gentle Sienese hills, roughly
550 m above sea level. The Centre offers beginners a
safe and easy introduction to the world horse-riding via
a progressive understanding of the animal, its life and
habits. An ideal starting point for a few days trekking
or for quiet walks in the Tuscan countryside, still
surprisingly unspoilt, the Centre offers an interesting
range of equestrian pastimes. As well as stabling
horses, the centre offers qualified staff for
breaking-in and training young animals. Guests can make
use of the paddock (20 x 40 m), extensive fields with
canopied areas, club house and changing rooms with
showers. |
